History
Let me introduce myself and provide you with a little background information.
I started carving ice at Pinehurst Country Club, Denver, Colorado in 1973 under the direction of Executive Chef Dieter Kiessling.
When I moved to Minneapolis in 1974, I was the Chef Garde Manager on the 50th floor at the IDS Tower until 1977. From 1977 - 1990 I was Sous Chef, then Executive Chef and eventually promoted to Food & Beverage Director at the Decathlon Athletic Club in Bloomington, Minnesota.
Every where I worked I did the ice carving for various events, but it wasn’t until 1983 that I started my company ICE CARVINGS ETC...INC., while I was still employed at the Decathlon.
I left the Decathlon in 1990 to go into the Ice Carving business full time. I am proud to announce that this year is my 25th ANNIVERSARY of providing beautiful ICE CARVINGS around the 5 state area with emphasis in the metro area.
